Tex is a tri-color (white, brown and black) 2018 born AKGA registered Purebred Doe. She is a PROVEN producer (see kidding history below). Tex comes out of the very well known herd of Jim and Angie Loos at Red Ranch Goats. We purchased Tex at the Heartland Kiko Sale in Lawrence, KS in 2019 as a yearling. The Loos goats routinely fetch some of the highest prices at breeder sales across the nation every year, and for good reason. They tend to be stout, well muscled animals with strong maternals and easy keeping traits. She has been an outstanding producer for us here at Little Platte Farm. A great Doe to build a herd around. Tex is DNA verified with UC Davis Veterinary Genetics Lab.
